Eagles Extend Record-Breaking Las Vegas Sphere Residency Into 2027

The Eagles have extended their Las Vegas Sphere residency with concerts on January 8 and 9, 2027. The two dates take the run to 74 shows across 37 weekends and extend the band's Sphere schedule into 2027.
74 shows across 37 weekends
The residency began in 2024, and the latest announcement is the fourth extension since the Eagles played their first Sphere concert. More than one million fans have attended the run at the 20,000 capacity venue. Don Henley has described the concerts as “a later career blessing.”

The new total moves the Eagles beyond the Sphere residency record previously held by Dead & Company. That band played 48 shows at the venue, while the Eagles will reach 74 concerts after completing the newly expanded schedule.
The Eagles also changed their touring lineup during the residency. Chris Holt began performing with the band on January 17, 2025, following Steuart Smith's retirement. Holt took the role without an audition and has remained with the group as the residency has continued.
Joe Walsh has used several instruments during the Sphere concerts, including a Squier Telecaster for “Rocky Mountain Way.” The band has also continued adjusting the immersive visuals since opening night. During “In the City,” the screen production shifts to a rooftop sequence for Vince Gill's guitar solo.
Tickets for the Sphere shows start at $175. The concerts are billed as the Eagles' final shows, with the newly announced final dates taking place on January 8 and 9, 2027.
